The Modesto-Ceres Fire Protection Agency is a joint exercise of powers agency created between the City of Modesto and the City of Ceres. It provides continuous fire protection and administrative services to the properties lying within the area served by the Industrial Fire District. The Agency is administered by a five-member commission, which consists of the Fire Chief and City Manager of the City of Ceres, the Fire Chief and City Manager of the City of Modesto, and an Executive Secretary. Regular meetings of the board are held once each year and Special meetings are called as needed.
